We collect no information from you. The App does not require an account, login, or any personal data to function.

The App requests access to your iPhone camera solely to scan paper receipts. Camera usage is entirely on-device:
Documents/ReceiptImages/ folder).All data you enter or scan — receipt photos, store names, amounts, dates, categories, tags, and notes — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and the app's private sandbox directory.
The App extracts text from receipt images using Apple's Vision framework OCR engine. This processing occurs entirely on-device. No image or extracted text is sent to any external server or API.
Receipt Vault contains zero third-party SDKs, frameworks, or services. The App uses only native Apple frameworks:
There are no advertising networks, analytics services, crash reporting services, or any other external integrations.
The App does not require an internet connection and does not make any network requests. It functions fully in airplane mode. No data is transmitted over the internet at any time.
The App allows you to export your receipts as a CSV file or PDF. These exports are initiated entirely by you and shared using iOS's standard share sheet. We have no access to what you choose to share or where you send it.
The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected from any user, this policy applies equally to all users regardless of age.
When you download the App from the Apple App Store, Apple may collect certain information as described in Apple's Privacy Policy. This collection is governed by Apple and is outside our control.
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy — for example, if a future version of the App introduces optional cloud sync or analytics — we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
